Maryland, USA on 25 and 26 July. This Workshop continued the series of annual workshops related to space cryogenics started in 1982. The workshops have been held alternately in the USA in odd years and in other countries in even years, except for 1994. There were 59 participants in this year's event, with 24 oral presentations and 3 posters. There were presentations on recently completed cryogenic space flight missions, instruments on upcoming flights, instruments and cooling techniques for proposed missions and mechanical coolers and other cryogenic technology applicable to space flight.
