## Summary We studied the success rates for tracheal intubation in 64 healthy patients during simulated grade III laryngoscopy after induction of anaesthesia, using either the single‐use bougie or oral flexible intubating fibrescope, both in conjunction with conventional Macintosh laryngoscopy. Pat
