Delivery of a balloon-expandable stent was complicated by a systemic embolisation. The radio-opaque stent was lost in the descending aorta, but then removed by using a loop basket intravascular retriever set without any peripheral arterial complication.
This case report describes a patient who developed an aneurysmatic dilation of a coronary artery 6 months after successful primary stent implantation. The dilation occurred within the stented segment of the artery. To our knowledge, this is the first report of the development of an aneurysm, in the
