β¦ Synopsis
In order to investigate a substitution effect and a heat treatment effect, we have prepared polycrystalline samples of CePt 3Γd Si 1ΓΎd Γ°d ΒΌ Γ0:05 $ 0:15Γ: We have carried out the DC and AC magnetic susceptibility on this system. It is found that the magnetic susceptibility at low temperatures is enhanced with increasing Pt concentration, and the magnetic susceptibility of quenched CePt 3 Si samples has two anomalies at T ΒΌ 2:2 and 3 K. These anomalies are sensitive to the heat treatment and the substitution.
