✦ Synopsis
Four mixed-chelate copper (II) complexes containing acetylacetonate ion and various diimine ligand were prepared and characterized by elemental analysis, spectroscopic and molar conductance measurements. These complexes are fairly soluble in various solvents and show positive solvatochromism. The examinations of the electronic properties of the groups attached to the diimine chelate on the solvatochromic behavior of these complexes were investigated.
