## Abstract This article reports the submerged culture of the entomopathogenic nematode __Steinernema carpocapsae__ and its symbiotic bacterium, __Xenorhabdus nematophila__, within an internal‐loop airlift bioreactor. Two configurations of the inner cylinder were tested: a standard draft tube (SDT)
