✦ Synopsis

Eleven cases of subdural haematoma in association with intracranial aneurysms were demonstrated in a series of 839 angiograms performed to investigate subarachnoid haemorrhage and demonstrating an intracranial aneurysm. This represents an incidence of 1.3%. Plain film abnormalities were present in four cases. The aneurysm responsible for the haematoma arose from the internal carotid artery in six cases. The possible mechanisms are briefly reviewed.
