✦ Synopsis

Abstract

Acquired stuttering is an uncommon speech disorder. Supplementary motor area (SMA) lesions have been reported to be directly or indirectly related to acquired stuttering and various types of motor dysfunction. We report on a patient who presented with both acquired stuttering and long‐lasting gait disturbance after SMA seizure. Β© 2004 Movement Disorder Society
