## Abstract This article presents a novel broadband E‐shape radiation pattern reconfiguratable microstrip antenna. The MEMS switches are used to turn the two operations, a basis mode E‐shape microstrip antenna and a high‐order mode E‐shape microstrip antenna. It is important to make wide‐beam and h
