Abstract
In this article, the transition transmitting signals from a coaxial line to a waveguide with a straight post was suggested.The structure of two cavities was exploited to obtain a wider frequency bandwidth. The equivalent circuit for the suggested structure was then discussed. Parameters affecting the transmission performance were studied. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
