✦ Synopsis

It is pointed out that two impurity Kondo problem resembles valence fluctuation of a Tm or Pr impurity, and that the theoretical method successfully used in the latter is applicable. Using the extended NCA approach and molecular-orbital representation, competition of the Kondo effect and magnetic interaction is discussed.
