✦ Synopsis

The KM3NeT consortium has investigated the performance of a high energy neutrino detector by means of Monte Carlo simulations. In this work the study of the sensitivity to point-like neutrino sources as a function of detector size and of source declination is presented. It is shown that the detector sensitivity improves less than linearly with increasing homogeneously instrumented volume and that the detector sky view is very large (about 3.5p).
