In the present work the question of the possible use of the hydrodynamic approach for describing a plasma beam discharge is investigated. It is shown that the condition vsi > (v,i + vm) x W/nT is the Maxwelliazation criterion of moderate energy particles in a plasma beam dischsrge. In this case th
