## Abstract The ^15^N NMR spectra of several substances with nitrogenโ€”nitrogen bonds have been obtained at the naturalโ€abundance level by highโ€resolution NMR spectroscopy. Azo (๏ฃฟN๏ฃพN๏ฃฟ) nitrogens are 300โ€“500 ppm deshielded compared with hydrazo (๏ฃฟNH๏ฃฟNH๏ฃฟ) nitrogens. The sensitivity of the ^15^N shifts
