✦ Synopsis


The relation between the superconducting transition temperature and the dopant concentration, x, in (La 1 M) Cu0 4 (M=Sr and Cal annealed in high pressure oxygen gas up to 400 bar is studied in detalI~xT5e sutgrconducting phase in La 2 Cu0 4 +. is found to become unstable by doping. The measurement of the Hall effect in the undoped sa~ple shows that the hole-like carriers increase with the oxygen pressure of annealing, while those in the doped sample are little changed.
