✦ Synopsis


A series of bombardments using the 25-MeV bremsstrahlung on enriched isotopes Sn 1 ' 0 0 . , Sn 12'O •. Snl240a, and natural tin have resulted in the discovery of new isotopes lu l n , In 12 3 , and their isomers. The previously reported activity of 10 119 is assigned to In lll S • The results are as follows: energies of energies of half-lives prays y rays (MeV) (MeV) In 11 18 2.3 min 1.6 0.77 In 12 1 " 30 sec 0.94 In 12 3 " 10 sec 1.10 In l • , m 3.1 min 3.7 11l'28m 36 sec 4.6 Decay schemes and level assignments are proposed. All the decay characteristics beautifully fit into shell model systematics. allowing us systematical studies on pertinent nuclear properties. Relative yields of photoreaction on tin are also derived on the basis of these decay sche meso
