## Abstract Poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) was chosen as a controllable gelator to prepare sodium alginate (SA)‐based physically cross‐linked dual‐responsive hydrogel by three steps. First, polyvinyl acetate (PVAc) was grafted onto SA via radical copolymerization. Then, the copolymer was subsequently co
