New mixed-&and iron(III) dithiocarbamate complexes of the general formula Fe(R2dtc)2(R;dtc) have been prepared and characterized. These complexes contain two different dithiocarbamate ligands with different ligand field strengths. Magnetic measurements show an electron spin crossover equilibrium tha

✦ Synopsis
13C! and 'H isotropic shifts have been measured for a series of Fe(lII) fris-dithiocarbamatc complexes. The '3C isotropic shifts mny be interpreted as arising soIely from contact hyperfinc coupling and demonstrate that as the low-spin smte cf the metal is favoured there is an increase in metal-ligznd n-bonding. u-delocalizotion of unpaired spin density is more important in determining the '"C isotropic shifts than those of the contiguous proton.

## Abstract The ^1^H and ^13^C NMR spectra of a variety of differently 2,5,6‐trisubstituted 3,4‐dihydro‐4‐oxo‐2__H__‐thiins (integrated push–pull alkenes) were unequivocally assigned by means of a wide variety of 1D and 2D NMR spectroscopic methods. The NMR parameters thus obtained, together with t
