The intrinsic viscosities (in methyl ethyl ketone at 2Y') of 19 fractions of an unsaturated polyester (prepared from ethane diol, maleic and phthalic anhydrides in the mole ratio 1:0.4:0.6) have been determined and correlated with the number-and weight-average molecular weights (390 \_< ~t \_< 5 Γ 1
