✦ Synopsis
Excitation functions of the nat Er(d, x) 163,165,166,167,168,170 Tm and nat Er(d, x) 171 Er reactions have been measured experimentally from their respective thresholds up to 40 MeV for the first time. Cross-sections were determined using the activation method and the stacked foil irradiation technique. The theoretical interpretation was done with the ALICE-IPPE code. From the fitted experimental cross-section data integral production yields were calculated and compared to measured integral yield data reported in the literature.
