Membrane-forming conditions including solution concentration, pre-evaporation time, evaporation temperature and bath temperature have different influences on the properties of cellulose membrane, e.g. the water flux and the ability to retain glucosan T40. Cellulose membrane has a high ability to remove urea and creatinine as does polyacrylonitrile membrane.
