✦ Synopsis
Laboratory studies for the determination of equilibrium data and effective diffusivities of Merox solutions in activated carbon were carried out in batch, CSTR and fixed-bed adsorbers. Simulation of the impregnation step of an industrial Merox unit was then performed. The fixed-bed plant was modelled by a heterogeneous model with pore diffusion in particles and was solved numerically either by using the package PDECOL or the method of characteristics.

Intermediates of the cobalt tetrasulfophthalocyanine (CoTSPc)-catalyzed thiol autoxidation were studied by UV-vis spectroscopy. All thiolates react with CoTSPc resulting in the formation of 1:1 complexes. Three major factors control both the stability and aggregation of the complexes: thiolate basic
## Abstract A model has developed for simulating isothermal mold filling during resin transfer molding (RTM) of polymeric composites. The model takes into account the anisotropic nature of the fibrous reinforcement and change in viscosity of the polymer resin as a result of chemical reaction. The f
Anaerobic complexation of cobalt tetrasulfophthalocyanine (CoTSPc) with alkyl xanthogenates [ROC(S)S -] has been studied by UV-Vis spectroscopy in aqueous and N,N-dimethyl formamide (DMF) solutions. In aqueous solutions, lag periods are observed in the kinetic curves for all tested xanthogenates bef
