โœฆ Synopsis

The previously reported reaction of phthalocyanines [H 2 (pc)] 5-8. The corresponding dihydroxyphosphorus(V) phthalocyanine hydroxides 9-12 have also been synthesized for the with PBr 3 , which was claimed to give a phosphorus(III) phthalocyanine "(PcP III )", has been reinvestigated in detail first time by insertion of phosphorus(V) into phthalocyanines and have been characterized in detail. The different with both unsubstituted and alkyl-substituted phthalocyanines, 1-4. The products exhibit unusual electronic and reactivities of PBr 3 and POX 3 (X = Cl, Br) toward phthalocyanines are discussed. mass spectra compared to normal phthalocyanines and have been identified as oxophosphorus(V) triazatetrabenzcorroles

The paper describes the synthesis of several polypyromellitimide samples containing phosphine oxide in the backbone and maleimido groups as pendant side chains. These polymers were obtained by solution polycondensation reaction in DMF in three steps. First step involved the reaction of equimolar amo
