Metabolism of 3-phenylproply carbamate was investigated by using a stable isotope tracer technique. 3-Phenylpropanol, 3-hydroxy-3-phenylpropanol, 3-hydroxy-3-phenylpropyl carbamate, 2,3-dihydroxy-3-phenylproply carbamate, benzoic acid and hippuric acid were identified as the rat urinary metabolites.

## Abstract Mitragynine (MG) is an indole alkaloid of the Thai medicinal plant __Mitragyna speciosa__ (Kratom in Thai) and reported to have opioid agonistic properties. Because of its stimulant and euphoric effects, Kratom is used as a herbal drug of abuse. The aim of the presented study is to iden
