โฆ Synopsis
Abstract
Two kinds of twoโlayer microstrip structures, including crossover and broadsideโcoupled microstrip lines, and their equivalent circuits, are studied based on a quasiโstatic analyzing method. The shorting vias from the bottom strips to the ground planes are introduced to achieve bandstop. Simulated and measured results show the validity of the proposed structures and their CAD models for the design of bandstop filters. ยฉ 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. ## Abstract In this article, we propose a new compact defected ground structure (DGS) bandstop filter with broad passโband, low insertion loss in the stopโband, and sharp transition from passโ to stopโband. The bandstop filter structure is simple as it is composed of a pair of octagonal DGS slots a
## Abstract A novel microstrip bandpass filter integrating the defected ground structure and slotline coupling technique is presented in this letter. A slotline resonator with a length of threeโquarter wavelength at central frequency is etched on the ground, while a pair of radial stubs is centrall
