β¦ Synopsis
We present the cosmogenic production rates of several long-lived isotopes estimated by using updated cosmic-ray neutron flux measurements and excitation functions from TALYS code 1.0. We find that the cosmogenic isotopes produced inside different detector target materials can be potential sources of background in searching for rare physics processes such as the detection of dark matter and neutrinoless double-beta decay.
