✦ Synopsis

The production of pp pairs from two-photon collisions has been studied by 89 fb-' data collected at Belle. The cross sections and the angular differential cross sections for yy -+ pjj have been measured in the two-photon cm. energy from 2 to 4 GeV. In comparison with previous measurements, the Belle preliminary results have achieved a great improvement in statistics. The theoretical predictions, including the pure quark and diquark models, are compared with the data at medium or higher energies.
