✦ Synopsis
The dynamic nonlinear susceptibility Z {3~ (co) was investigated in ct-[bisethylenedithiotetrathiofulvalene ] triiodide, a-[BEDT-TTF] 213, by four-wave mixing with femtosecond time resolution, ct-[ BEDT°TTF] 213 undergoes a metal-insulator phase transition at 135 K. This organic conductor has a large Z t3~ (co) with four components: one is vibrational (Raman) and three others are electronic. The temperature dependence of zC3~ (co) was studied between 15 and 295 K. The dependence of the decay times with temperature can be associated with the dynamics of the metal-insulator phase transition in this system.
