Abstraet--Diallyl terephthalate (DAT) was radically copolymerized in benzene with vinyl monomers having long-chain alkyl groups, including lauryl methacrylate (LMA), stearyl methacrylate (SMA) and vinyl laurate (VL). In the DAT LMA copolymerizations, the initial rate was quite high because of high p
