โœฆ Synopsis

The crack tip constraints 111' and m, in the KCTOD relationships and the K-R (plastic zone) relationship respectively have been evaluated and compared as a function of specimen thickness, a/w ratio and the loading geometry (namely SEN tension, SEN bending and the CT geometry). The interrelation between m' and m, has also been discussed. The effect of constraints on the crack initiation toughness has been studied and results have been discussed for a structural steel.

Adult male Fischer-344 rats were given bilateral injections of 2.5 micrograms colchicine or artificial cerebrospinal fluid into caudal and rostral sites of the dentate gyrus of the hippocampus. One group of rats received 21 consecutive daily injections of 20 mg/kg GM1 gangliosides, i.p., beginning t
