Holladay, MD, MSEE, FACS, gave the Barraquer Lecture; George O. Waring III, MD, gave the Castroviejo Lecture; Edward G. Buckley, MD, gave the Marshall M. Parks Lecture; and B. Thomas Hutchinson, MD, gave the Robert N. Shaffer Lecture. Additional awards presented at the Academy include the following: The Outstanding Humanitarian Service Award to Peter R.
