Abstract
Two new species are added to the large genus Erica. E. flexistyla and E. juniperina. The former is distinguished from related smallβ, pinkβflowered species by its peculiar flexed style and anemophilous pollination syndrome. The latter species, not closely related to any other species, possesses a tightly packed yet peculiarly hollowedβout arrangement of the leaves. Both species occur in the southern part of the Cape Floral Region of South Africa and are highly restricted endemics.
