โฆ Synopsis
II AES enlarges
Convertor II mechanical seals
Used in both new installations and to replace packings or twopiece seals, the standard duty Convertor II size range from AES Engineering has been extended to fit shaft or sleeve sizes up to 4" (100 mm).
The new and larger Convertor II seals are available in the same material combinations as the smaller seals and have been developed using the same technology FEA programme to ensure optimum performance.
All AES cartridge mechanical seals are statically tested (to 8 bar) to ensure leak-free operation and they are pre-assembled to their precise working length to facilitate installation and give extended pump service-life.
According to AES, the clean simple profile of the competitively priced Convertor II enables this balanced seal to be fitted into a wider range of rotating equipment without modifications.
