Abstract
Durch Abbau von Dihydro‐desoxy‐isostrychnin (I) mit Ozon wurde ein pentacyclisches Keton erhalten, das Strychanon (III) genannt wird. Es lasst sich zum entsprechenden Alkohol (Strychanol) (IV) reduzieren. Strychanon und Strychanol sind als Abbauprodukte gewisser Curare‐Alkaloide von Bedeutung.
