EPR and optical spectra of magnesium and calcium kc:y!s were investigated in hlTHF and mixtures of DXIF and MTHF at various concentrations. It was shown that these ketyls form aggregates in ethereal solvents and dissociate into biradicals in mcrc polar solutions. hfodcls of ion aggregate to explcin the observed EPR and optical spectra are suggested Phys. 48 (1968) 440.
