✦ Synopsis

Reevaluation of 13 C NMR data in combination with X-ray diffraction and VCD studies led us to reassign the structure of (À)-epi-presilphiperfolan-1-ol (1), isolated from Anemia tomentosa var. anthriscifolia, to (À)-9-epi-presilphiperfolan-1-ol (2) and to establish its absolute configuration as 1S,4S,7R,8R,9S.
