✦ Synopsis
In this paper, we point out and use the geometrical structure of the set of equilibrated loads in nonlinear elasticity, for existence theorems for various nonlinear traction problems, and for nonexistence results in linearized elasticity.

Dans cet article, on met en 6vidence la structure g6om6trique de l'ensemble des charges 6quilibr6es en ~lasticit6 non lin~aire, et on utilise cette structure pour moutrer divers th6or6mes d'existence pour des probl6mes de traction non lin~aires, ainsi que des r6sultats de non existence pour l'~lasticit6 lin~arls~e.

The main goal of this paper is to prove two Aronszajn type theorems for some initial value problems formulated in terms of fractional derivatives. Moreover, we are going to establish a theorem on the existence and uniqueness of positive solutions.
