โฆ Synopsis
The 91 Zr(p, t) 89 Zr reaction has been studied in a high-resolution experiment at an incident proton energy of 25 MeV. Angular distributions for transitions to 44 levels of 89 Zr up to an excitation energy of โผ 3.650 MeV have been measured. DWBA analysis, with conventional Woods-Saxon potentials, allowed the assignment of the transferred angular momenta L. The energy spectrum of 89 Zr has been studied in the framework of the shell model, using the large-basis shell-model code OXBASH. The structure of both positive-and negative-parity states of 89 Zr has been investigated using the PMM90pn residual interaction, and discussed in comparison with the experimental findings from the 91 Zr(p, t) 89 Zr reaction.
