The title compound, (C 8 H 20 N)[Re 2 (C 5 H 4 NO)(CH 3 O) 2 (CO) 6 ], was obtained from a ligand-substitution reaction of (Et 4 N)[Re 2 (OMe) 3 (CO) 6 ] with 2-hydroxypyridine in methanol solvent. Both Re centers are in an approximate octahedral geometry.
