✦ Synopsis
The structure of the oligosaccharide portion of an E.coli Re lipopolysaccharide was determined asa-KC&(2+ 4)-&.lB-(2+6WG1cN-(l~6)-~GlcN, bisphosphorylated at positions 1 and 4'. Taking into acccunt the previous determination of the acylaticn pattern of the GlcN disaccharide, the total structure of E.coli Re LPS was thus established.
