Abstract
Four new 8‐O‐4′ type neolignan glycosides with enantiometric aglycones, (7__S__,8__R__)‐erythro‐guaiacylglycerol‐β‐O‐4′‐sinapyl ether 9‐O‐β‐D‐glucopyranoside (1), (7__R__,8__S__)‐erythro‐guaiacylglycerol‐β‐O‐4′‐sinapyl ether 9‐O‐β‐D‐glucopyranoside (2), (7__S__,8__R__)‐erythro‐ syringylglycerol‐β‐O‐4′‐sinapyl ether 9‐O‐β‐D‐glucopyranoside (3) and (7__R__,8__S__)‐erythro‐ syringylglycerol‐β‐O‐4′‐sinapyl ether 9‐O‐β‐D‐glucopyranoside (4), were isolated from the leaves of Osmanthus ilicifolius. Their structures were established on the basis of NMR, circular dichroism (CD), MS and chemical data.
