The r, structures of ethylene and 1,l-difluoroethylene have been determined by NMR of partially oriented molecules, considering the interaction between the solute molecule and the liquid crystal solvent which leads to a correlation between molecular vibration and rotation. ## Abstract The ^13^C‐NMR chemical shifts of dicyanocobyrinic acid heptamethyl ester (**1**), an important corrinoid model compound, are correlated with those of some derivatives. Isotope effects on the ^13^C chemical shifts (over two to four bonds) are observed for the 10‐deuterio and the 10,13‐di

## Abstract It is demonstrated that in a case where neither the proton nor the natural‐abundance ^13^C‐satellite spectra of a partially oriented molecule carry enough structural information, one can determine the entire molecular geometry by the combined use of several liquid crystals as solvents.
