The heat capacities of Freons CF2ClCHCl2 and CFCl2CHFCl have been measured in an adiabatic, fully-automatic calorimeter over the temperature ranges from 5 K to 325 K and 58 K to 326 K, respectively. The substances were in the glassy, partly crystalline, and liquid states. The glass-transition temper

Alloys of nominal composition Y 1Γ€x Er x Fe 2 (x ΒΌ 0, 0.25, 0.5, 0.65, 0.75 and 1) have been prepared and investigated for the structural and magnetic properties. The microstructural features of the samples indicate that (Y,Er)Fe 2 is the main phase, with the co-existence of a minor phase (Y,Er)Fe 3
