โฆ Synopsis
The structure and properties of an iron based self-lubricant wear-resistant gradient layer, with spherical graphites as well as alloy-carbides on a surface of cast steel, were studied. From the outside in, the composition, structure and properties of the self-lubricant wear-resistant gradient layer with a thickness of 5แ6 mm take on a gradient distribution and transform gradually into that of a master-alloy. The subsurface layer which has many more nodular graphites and alloy-carbides possesses high as-cast hardness and great wear-resistance under the condition of dry slipping with a heavy load.
