✦ Synopsis

Differences between the reference and the test samples were determined by the sensory analysis using two graphical scales: (1) unstructured one-way or two-way scales provided with verbal descriptions of the end points; (2) structured scales provided with 5 or 7 anchoring points with verbal descriptions. The anchoring points attracted the rating signs in the case of trained, and still more of untrained persons. Differences between the scales were found statistically significant by K ~L M O G ~R O V -SMIRNOV One-Sample or Two-Sample tests.

Recent studies have revealed differences between men and women alcoholics in symptoms, consequences, and help-seeking behavior related to alcohol usage. Based on these findings, it was hypothesized that gender differences also would appear on alcohol screening instruments. The Self-Administered Alco

Background: This article studied the factor structure of the Impact of Event Scale-Revised (IES-R) in two samples in Peru, i.e., a sample of survivors of a fire (N 5 174) and a university student sample (N 5 562). Methods: First, confirmatory factor analysis was used to compare nine different models
