Transparent (1Àx)TeO 2 -xWO 3 glasses with 0rxr0.325 mol were synthesized by the fast quenching technique. Several complementary techniques as infrared, X-ray photoelectron and X-ray absorption spectroscopies were used to approach the structure of these tungsten oxide-tellurite glasses. Special atte
