Abstract
The semimagnetic semiconductor alloy Zn~0.5~Mn~0.5~In~2~Te~4~ was refined from an Xβray powder diffraction pattern using the Rietveld method. This compound crystallizes in the space group I42m (NΒΊ 121), Z = 2, with unit cell parameters a = 6.1738(1) Γ , c = 12.3572(4) Γ , V = 471.00(2) Γ 3, c/a = 2.00. This material crystallizes in a stanniteβtype structure. (Β© 2009 WILEYβVCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim)

The structure of the semiconducting alloy Cu 2 Cd 0.5 Mn 0.5 GeSe 4 was refined from an X-ray powder diffraction pattern using the Rietveld method. The present alloy crystallizes in the wurtz-stannite structure, space group Pmn2 1 (NΒΊ 31), and unit cell parameters values of a = 8.0253(2) Γ , b = 6.85
