The polysaccharide of the Moraxella (Branhamella) catarrhalis serotype A lipopolysaccharide was prepared by mild acid hydrolysis followed by gel permeation chromatography . The structure was established by methylation analysis, mass spectrometry, and NMR spectroscopy. It is concluded that the 0-anti
