The 31 P-and 27 Al-MAS-NMR spectra of a lead-barium-aluminum phosphate glass were measured and analyzed, and the short range structure of the glass are discussed. The 31 P-MAS-NMR spectrum of the glass studied has a single isotropic peak at y4.76 ppm, indicating that orthophosphate species are the d
