โฆ Synopsis

Finite Element Computer Programs. This catalogue has been revised with about 120 new programs added. Approximately 450 computer programs are described alphabetically in tabular forms. The catalogue is arranged in two parts. The first one covers the program characteristics, description, element library and software information. The range of application includes the finite element programs within linear and nonlinear statics and dynamics as well as heat transfer. The second part of the catalogue provides the address of the program developer and about 1200 references to journals and conference proceedings which describe the programs and applications experience.
Structural Mechanics Pre-and Postprocessor Programs. This catalogue has been revised with about 60 new programs added. The catalogue is arranged in a similar way as the structural mechanics finite element computer programs. Totally about 260 programs and 360 references are included.
The third publication Finite Element Review is in preparation. The book presents in a table form some hundreds of different elements. Presented elements include truss members, beams, membranes, plates, shells, axisymmetric solids, solid and special purpose elements. Formulation: force, displacement, hybrid (l-3) and mixed. Element description includes an element configuration, information about shape, number of nodes, type and number of DOF. Displacement functions are included. The second part of the book contains references on elements and their applications.
